Charger Operation
(A) Charging method
The AVCD Universal Battery Charger have two charging methods:
AC Adapter or
Car cord,
they allow you to charge your batteries at home or in the car conveniently.
(B) How to use the charger
- Place 1 to 4 pcs AA / AAA Ni-MH or Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries into the charger independently with correct "+" and "-"
indication on each battery compartment.
- If charging AAA cells, please pull down the contact plate.

- Connect the AC adapter or car cord to the charger's power input jack.
- Plug the AC adapter in a wall outlet or the car cord to the autombile cigarette socket, the backlight will turn on.
- Backlight will keep lighted during charging process.
- Backlight will turn off after 1 minute when
- empty charger is connected to AC outlet
- battery charging is completed
- The fuel gauges in the LCD screen are full, the batteries are ready to be used, take the battery out and unplug the input power.
(C) Check the charging status

LCD screen shows the charging status when you insert the rechargeable batteries:
Caution
- Do not charge any other type of battery cells beside Ni-Cd & Ni-MH. Otherwise, the batteries may explode causing personal injury and damage.
- Do not expose the charger to rain or moisture, never immerse the unit.
- Do not store the charger where it may be exposed to high temperature and high humidity, avoid placing in direct sunlight, for indoor use only.
- Do not use the charger inside a drawer or closed cabinet, or cover with a cloth. Use in the well ventilation environment.
The charger will become slighty warm in use.
- Do not attempt to open the charger.
- Do not short curcuit the battery terminals.
- Do not operate the charger if it appears damaged in any way.
- Place the batteries with positive tip (+) facing top, incorrect polarity may cause fire or explsion.
- If the charger must be cleaned, be sure it is unplugged, and then wipe the body of the unit with a clean cloth lightly dampened
with mild detergent or alcohol.
